Main Useful Means of Transport: The largest railway operator in Denmark is Danske Statsbaner (DSB) — Danish State Railways. Arriva operates some routes in Jutland, and several other smaller operators provide local services, mainly outside the Aalborg area.
According to Statistics Denmark, in the last quarter of 2019, 21 million tonnes of goods were transported by ship (of which around 16 million by cargo vessels and 5 million by ferry), 40 million tonnes by road, and 2 million tonnes by rail. For the whole year 2019, the overall transport of goods via manned Danish airports amounted to 2.7 million tonnes.
